Comet Cleaners offers dry-cleaning, professional stain removal, pressing, cleaning of household items, laundry, and alterations. We also offer special programs designed for our customers’ needs.
Dry Cleaning and Pressing
Our trained drycleaners inspect each area that requires pre-spotting and/or additional attention. A gentle cleaning process is performed and all garments are pressed and hand finished. We clean all types of clothing including suits, dresses, sport shirts, wedding dresses, and silk.
Press Only
We are able to accommodate special requests for press only or garments that require steam only.
Professional Stain Removal
Our drycleaners are professionally trained on the proper methods for stain removal. We have special equipment and products that are specifically designed for each stain and each fabric type. We are continually being trained on new developments and procedures for new products and fabric care in the industry.
Happy Bags
You can take advantage of Our Express Happy Bag program which allows you to drop-off garments in a convenient Happy Bag without waiting in line for service. A personalized tag includes all of the information that we need. Garments are professionally counted, inspected for spots, tears, or other problem areas requiring additional attention, sorted and dry-cleaned or laundered according to your preferences.
Comet on Demand
If you ever find yourself in a rush, we want to accommodate you. In most cases, we can have your clothing ready in less than two hours for an additional fee.
Convenience
We offer same day service Monday through Friday. Bring your items in before 9:00 am and we will have them ready by 5:00 the same day.
Laundry
Each garment can be starched to your preference and crisply pressed. Buttons are tightened or replaced free of charge. Shirts can be folded for your convenience. Pants and jeans can be creased or not.
Household Items
Our trained professionals carefully clean your draperies, bedspreads, tablecloths and other household fabrics.
Alterations
Our experienced seamstresses can professionally perform any service from the smallest repair to major adjustments. Our services include replacing zippers, size adjustments, cuffing, shortening and lengthening hems and much more. If you would like to be fitted, please feel free to call and arrange an appointment.
